A successful creative practice is built on far more than talent. Over the years, I have worked with artists at different stages of their careers, and I kept encountering the same problem: traditional arts education teaches you how to develop your work, but rarely how to build a life and practice capable of sustaining it. Talent alone does not explain why one artist continues to evolve while another becomes stuck. Nor does hard work automatically create visibility, opportunity or fulfilment.

Your creative practice is shaped by a far more complex system: your relationship with ambition, visibility, money, identity, discipline, fear, recognition and success. It is shaped by the patterns you repeat, often without realising that you are repeating them. This was the gap that led me to create The ArtistMethod in 2022.

It was my first formal entry into bringing together the different ways I had been thinking about artists, creative development and the forces that sit beneath a successful practice. I began identifying the things that general arts education often overlooked, fundamental techniques and principles that determine whether an artist cannot only make meaningful work, but sustain, develop and expand their creative life. These methods do not draw from mainstream knowledge.

As I continued working with individual artists, I increasingly incorporated more astrology, Hermetics, Alchemy and Kabbalistic thought into my guidance. This eventually led to the creation of ARTstrology. Over time, these approaches began to converge. Today, that school of thought has evolved into Artist Alchemy Advisory.

This is where I work closely and in depth with individual artists and creatives who recognise that something in their lives or practices needs to change. Perhaps you are creatively stuck. Perhaps you have outgrown the identity that brought you this far. Perhaps success has arrived but has not brought the fulfilment you expected. Perhaps you know exactly what you want to do, yet continue to encounter the same invisible obstacles. The visible problem is rarely the whole story. My work is about identifying what sits beneath it.

I am not a "coach" offering motivation, accountability or a formula for success. I work as a guide through a process of investigation, recognition and transformation, drawing on creative strategy, pattern recognition and the esoteric systems that have become fundamental to my methodology.

For artists and creatives who are ready to go deeper, this is not simply about improving what you do. It is about transforming the way you live, create and move through the world.
