ARTIST STATEMENT

My practice is rooted in long-term research into identity, ritual, and cosmology as living systems of meaning. Rather than treating identity as a fixed social category, I approach it as a dynamic field shaped by memory, place, lineage, and experience, constantly forming and reforming across time. Working across photographic, symbolic, and process-led methodologies, I explore how cultural, psychological, and spiritual structures meet within the construction of identity. My work is informed by an interest in archetypal imagery, sacred geometry, and esoteric traditions, where making becomes a form of enquiry rather than representation alone.

In my creative practice, art becomes a magickal act, it becomes research, and the boundaries between human and non-human, public and private, visible and occult are continually re-negotiated. Ritual is central to my practice. How repeated actions, ceremonial structures, and embodied processes can function as tools for understanding the relationship between the individual and larger systems of existence. Through this entangled lens, I aim to cultivate experiences that are both transformative and unsettling, where mystery is not resolved but invited.
